Hiffis was a terrestrial celestial body located in the Hiffis system, a part of the Jjannex sector in the Western Reaches portion of the Outer Rim Territories. It was the site of a lightly guarded warehouse of the Galactic Empire that was used to store outdated heavy equipment, including a large fleet of mostly well-maintained Ultra-Light Assault Vehicle (ULAV) landspeeders. At some point during the Galactic Civil War, decades after the establishment of the Empire in 19 BBY, the Rebel Alliance carried out a commando raid on the facility that resulted in the theft of usable equipment, most importantly the fleet of ULAVs.
