Hinari was planet located in the Outer Rim Territories and the New Territories' Thesme sector, within the Hinari system. It was situated in grid square O-6 of the Standard Galactic Grid. In the months following the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY, New Republic pilot Wedge Antilles visited the world, hoping to locate hidden pockets of Imperial forces. However, he was unsuccessful and eventually opted to continue his search by traveling to the Outer Rim planet Akiva.
