Keresia was an astronomical object located within the Keresia system, a part of the Demetras sector within the Outer Rim Territories and Trans-Hydian regions of the galaxy.
When the Galactic Empire used the sliideptra, a species of annelidians native to Tel IV in the Halthor sector, to research chemical weapons, their experiments led to the creation of a paralytic grain mold that decimated Keresia. The latter celestial body's fate was mentioned in a holobrochure for the Tagge Holographic Museum of Chandrila.
