Koratas was the fourth moon of Dathomir. It had red soil that hid several deposits of neutronium, lommite and zersium. The Galactic Empire mined the minerals for use in making durasteel. Following the Battle Of Endor in 4ABY, the moon was excavated to build Rancor Base within.
