Lasan

Lasan was a Wild Space planet. An arid and warm world, its surface featured desert and plains as well as high mountains. Lasan was inhabited by herbivorous banthas and the sentient, humanoid Lasat.

The Lasat were mostly nomadic, tribe-based trappers at a relatively low level of technology; however, a few regions on Lasan had developed city-states with social stratification and feudal-level technology, including comparatively advanced applied chemistry. Lasan was an isolated world that was seldom visited by interstellar traders, and only a handful of the Lasat were found in the wider galaxy. By 0 BBY, the Galactic Empire waged the conflicts known as the Lasan Suppression and the Siege of Lasan.
