Linasals was a tropical moon located in the Linasals system within the Mikaster sector of the Expansion Region and Trailing Sectors. It was situated in grid square N-15 on the Standard Galactic Grid. By the time of the war between the First Order and the Resistance, the Ithorian collector Dok-Ondar—who ran the Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities shop in the town of Black Spire Outpost on the Outer Rim planet Batuu—imported silk ribbons from Linasals.
In 34 ABY, when smuggler Izal Garsea visited the store, the farmer Julen Rakab was reminded of the ribbons imported from Linasals by the breeze's rustling of her black hair as she entered. The same year, the historian and author Eloc Throno included Linasals on a map in his Batuu guidebook, Traveler's Guide to Batuu.
