Mantooine was an astronomical object located in the Atrivis sector where the Jedi Master Yoda once took his Padawan Dooku between 86 BBY and 80 BBY. During the Galactic Empire's reign, an Imperial garrison was based there. As an armed rebellion grew in the sector, the Liberators, a resistance group based on Mantooine, captured the local garrison in 5 BBY, but were defeated by the Imperial Navy shortly after.
