Marcelan Prime was a celestial body located in the Wild Space star system of the same name. During the Galactic Civil War, the Tempest Force unit of the Galactic Empire's armed forces, which included the stormtrooper Hume Tarl, participated in a military operation at Marcelan Prime.
When the journalist Cindel Towani later interviewed Tarl about the Battle of Endor of 4 ABY, the latter mentioned the operation at Marcelan Prime as one of the engagements the Tempest Force had been involved in. In 41 ABY, Towani included the interview in her work Portraits of the Galactic Civil War.
