Namore

Namore was a planet located in the Namore system, a part of the Southern Core portion of the Colonies. Gerom was an official on the planet who held the title of Prefect. Hailey LaMelle was considered to be Namore's most notable holonews reporter, while Dasar Zorm was a notorious local racketeer.

At some point during the Galactic Civil War, Prefect Gerom met with Zorm on Namore. LaMelle and Andross, her holocam operator, filmed the meeting from across a plaza. The reporter observed Zorm opening a suitcase containing credits, as well as Gerom handing the criminal what looked to LaMelle like a document pouch, all of which made her speculate that an act of bribery was taking place. At that point, LaMelle's observations were interrupted by an individual pressing the barrel of a blaster rifle against her back.
