Near Indosa

Near Indosa was a world located in the Near Indosa system. It was situated in the Loop Worlds area of the Gordian Reach sector within the Trans-Hydian portion of the Outer Rim Territories. The hyperlane known as the Junction-Tierell Loop connected it to the Presbalin and Trinovat systems, and another, smaller hyperspace route linked it to the Far Indosa system.

By the time of the final years of the Galactic Republic's existence, which ended in 19 BBY, Near Indosa had been mined for millennia, leaving its upper crust riddled with ancient tunnels. The world had been depleted of most of its valuable resources by that time, and after the economically promising worlds of the Far Indosa system were opened for mining during those years, the majority of Near Indosa's miners relocated there.
