Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.
Neelanon was a planet located in the Neelanon system of the Senex sector, a part of the Senex-Juvex region in the Western Reaches portion of the Mid Rim. The Senex Trace hyperlane linked it to the Fengrine and Senex systems, while another hyperspace route connected it to the Crovna system.
Neelanon was the homeworld of the aristocratic House Taneel, including the Human Galactic Republic Senator Terr Taneel. The planet also served as the capital of the Senex sector with respect to Republic administrative matters, though that status meant little in the internal affairs of the Senex-Juvex region.
