Apsolon, later renamed New Apsolon, was a world located in the Terr'skiar sector of the Mid Rim. During the Great Sith War, it was a part of the Sith Empire.
The planet was renamed when a bloodless revolution led by Qui-Gon Jinn and Tahl overthrew the totalitarian Absolutes and replaced their government with democracy. In a failed coup, the Absolutes attempted to regain power 41 BBY.
The planet was a member of the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars.
New Apsolon was split into two groups: the Workers, people of low importance, and the Civilized, people of higher importance. The only worker ever known to be the leader of the planet was Ewane.
The planet sat on the Ootmian Pabol.
