Nyasko was a terrestrial planet located in the Nyasko system. It constituted a part of the Colunda sector, a subsector of the Phelleem sector in the Slice portion of the Outer Rim Territories. During the Galactic Civil War between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance, a battalion of Imperial All Terrain Armored Transport walkers was stationed on Nyasko.
At some point, the high marks earned by the individual Deppo at an engineering school led to him being assigned to the Nyasko battalion. The unit's frequent suppression of Rebel-related uprisings resulted in a lot of work for Deppo in repairing wrecks of vehicles that had either been sabotaged or damaged in battle.
