Paklan was a forest planet, located in the Paklan system in the Nuiri sector of the Outer Rim. In 20 BBY, the Nightbrothers Darth Maul and Savage Opress took refuge on the planet after having a bounty posted on their heads by the Gossam Ja'Boag, the leader of the Rim Commercial Mining corporation. After Zika led a band of bounty hunters to the two's location in a local diner, Savage and Maul brutally killed their assailants before fleeing the planet.
