Persappa

Persappa was a terrestrial planet located in the Persappa system of the Unknown Regions. It was a part of the Rakatan Archipelago, a fragmented group of unaligned planets settled by tribes of the Rakata species after the collapse of the Rakatan Infinite Empire around 25,200 BBY. Persappa featured bubbling brew pools on its surface.

The Rakatan tribe that settled Persappa brought guard creatures there, including rancors, a species of carnivorous reptomammals originating on the Outer Rim Territories worlds of Dathomir and Ottethan. Due to overbreeding, however, the rancors on Persappa eventually mutated into a variant that was blue-spotted and amphibious, and the creatures lurked in the planet's brew pools.
