Prospera Jang was a celestial body located in the Prospera Jang system, a part of the Kurost sector in the Slice portion of the Mid Rim. At some point between 39 BBY and 34 BBY, Corporate Alliance forces under the command of the Harch military leader Trench captured the Kurosti merchant fleet during a daring raid at Prospera Jang. The Aqualish bounty hunter Count Dojarat hailed from Prospera Jang, a fact that was noted by Arack Dostryt, the Director of Recruiting for the Bounty Hunters' Guild, in a section of an edition of the Bounty Hunters Guild Handbook published at some point between 19 BBY and 0 BBY.
