The astronomical object Rintonne was situated in the Rintonne system within the Lambda sector of both the Mid Rim and Trailing Sectors. It was located in square P-16 of the Standard Galactic Grid. In the Separatist Crisis, between 24 BBY and 22 BBY, half of the sector departed with Senator Po Nudo from the Galactic Republic for the growing Confederacy of Independent Systems. While a portion of the Lambda sector defected, Rintonne and the Andoan Free Colonies remained with the Republic. Years later in 34 ABY, Rintonne's location was noted on a partial map of the galaxy displayed aboard the Star Cruiser Halcyon.
