Risso was a planet located in the Risso system, situated in the Trailing Sectors portion of the Inner Rim region, in grid square N-14 on the Standard Galactic Grid. It shared its name with the Risso hot springs moon, located in the same system, which was known for its thermal waters. In 34 ABY, author and historian Eloc Throno included a map with the location of Risso in his book Traveler's Guide to Batuu, a guide that detailed the planet Batuu and its inhabitants.
