Selaggis was the primary star of the Selaggis system, a part of the Quelii sector in the New Territories portion of the Outer Rim Territories. It lay on the hyperlane known as the Braxant Run, which connected it to the Bandomeer and Vahaba systems.
Selaggis was a yellow star orbited by seven worlds, including the gas giant Selaggis VI. The planet Selaggis VI was orbited by several moons, including Selcaron, and was also circled by a heavy debris ring thought to have been another moon at one time.
