Tanta Aurek was the sun of the Tanta Aurek system in the Grumani sector of the Outer Rim Territories. The name of the star and the system derived from the fact that it and the sun of the Tanta Besh system, Tanta Besh appeared to form a double star in the sky of the planet Obica. It was orbited by the planet Scelepas.
