Tiragga was a planet of the Tiragga system, in the Mieru'kar sector, located within the Outer Rim of the galaxy. The planet was orbited by at least two moons. The second moon was home to a Rebel Alliance outpost during the Galactic Civil War, a large conflict between the Alliance and the Galactic Empire. At some point during the conflict, the base personnel became infected with the Direllian Plague, a fatal disease that could only be cured with the administration of Shiarha Root, a rare plant found on the world of Kirtania.
