An asteroid was located in the Crustai system on the edges of the Chiss Ascendancy. The Crustai asteroid base used by the Picket Force Two of the Chiss Expansionary Fleet was hidden inside the asteroid. The asteroid had passive sensors hidden on one side so that when it rotated the sensors would scan the whole area.
