Vatta Four

Vatta Four was a terrestrial celestial body located in Wild Space's Vatta system. During the Galactic Civil War, the local inhabitants of Vatta Four manufactured the type of slugthrower rifle known as the Baed Sharpshooter.

Rebel Alliance General Airen Cracken visited the astronomical object at some point during that conflict. When a modification Cracken had made to his blaster had rendered it inoperable, the general, equipping himself with a Baed Sharpshooter, used detonite from an explosive charge he also had access to and created explosive slugs, a type of munition well-suited for penetrating the armor of the Galactic Empire's stormtroopers. At some point following the Battle of Yavin, Cracken described his visit to Vatta Four in Cracken's Rebel Field Guide, a datafile that documented various pieces of equipment utilized by Alliance agents.
