Vendrak V

Vendrak V was an astronomical object that occupied the fifth orbital position in the Vendrak system. The system was located in the Videnda sector of the Outer Rim Territories in the Western Reaches. Vendrak V was the site of a starport that featured at least one large hangar.

During the Galactic Civil War between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance, Rebel forces were operating on Vendrak V. Intending to lure the Rebels into a trap, Imperial Intelligence planted false information that lead the Alliance to believe a hangar in the local starport contained a batch of potentially useful weaponry.

Acting on the information, the Rebel "Victor" squad and "Bravo" Squad snuck into the hangar, where the Imperial trap was then sprung. Surprising the Rebels, two squads of Imperial stormtroopers entered the hangar and in the following battle attempted to prevent them from escaping.
