Yerphonia was a terrestrial celestial body located in the Yerphonia system of the Core Worlds. It was the site of the prestigious All Science Research Academy.
The Human future entrepreneur Granta Omega, who hailed from the moon Nierport VII in the Colonies' Eeropha system, attended the institution on Yerphonia thanks to sponsorship by the Galactic Republic senator Sano Sauro. Omega graduated from the academy around 32 BBY, shortly before the Battle of Naboo, a fact that archivist Jocasta Nu of the Jedi Order's Archives uncovered seven years later and subsequently relayed to Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi, who was searching for Omega at the time.
