Alan Ruscoe (April 14, 1972) is an English actor who played Plo Koon and Daultay Dofine in Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace. He was also credited as playing "Lott Dod" in Attack of the Clones, even though the character has later been established as Rune Haako. He also briefly reprised his role as Plo Koon during pickup shots in England (when normal actor, Matt Sloan, couldn't be present). Most of his scenes were omitted from the final film, however.

Ruscoe also played one of the Twi'lek aides of Senator Orn Free Taa on Coruscant in The Phantom Menace and was nicknamed "Bib Fortuna" by the production crew, but was ultimately cut from the final film. The actual Fortuna in the film was portrayed by Matthew Wood. However, Ruscoe still described his character as Fortuna in an interview with Star Wars Insider 117 in 2010. Ruscoe was initially only contracted to portray Plo Koon in the film, but ended up also portraying Daultay Dofine and "Fortuna". He wore a major three piece prosthetic that took four hours to apply and two additional hours to remove. In the interview, Ruscoe empathized that it was "nothing" compared to the time actor Michael Carter needed for his makeup and that the real work was done by the makeup artists and not him.

Ruscoe is best known for appearing in Doctor Who in the stories Rose (2005), The End of the World (2005), Aliens of London and World War Three (2005), Bad Wolf (2005), The Parting of the Ways (2005) and The Waters of Mars (2009).
