Sir Alec Guinness CH CBE (April 2, 1914 – August 5, 2000) was an English actor who played Obi-Wan Kenobi in the original trilogy.
Guinness won an Academy Award with the role of Lt. Col. Nicholson in The Bridge on the River Kwai in 1957.
