Andy Herd

Andy Herd is an actor. He appeared in 1983's Return of the Jedi, where he was credited as Andrew Herd. Herd played both an Ewok and a Jawa named Kalit.

Herd was living in Hertfordshire when he saw a newspaper ad recruiting dwarfs for the film, and the next day, he found himself at Elstree Studios. Herd and fellow Jawa actor Brian Wheeler feature in a deleted scene in Jabba's Palace, where they use rubber rifles knock on Luke Skywalker's hands as he grabs onto the bottom of the grate covering the rancor pit.

Herd has also appeared in movies such as Labyrinth and Willow.
