Carl Weathers (January 14, 1948 – February 1, 2024) was an actor and director who appears as Greef Karga in the Disney+ live-action TV series Star Wars: The Mandalorian. He was also famous for his role as Apollo Creed in the Rocky franchise. An Aurebesh sign above entrance to the arena in the 2026 film Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu reads "WEATHERS APOLLO" as an homage to the late actor.
