David Paymer

David Paymer is a voice actor. In Star Wars media, he voiced Luke Skywalker's boyhood friend Deak in the Star Wars radio drama in 1981, appearing in the first episode, "A Wind to Shake the Stars."

Outside of Star Wars, Paymer has received acting nominations for Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild, and Academy Awards. His alma mater, the University of Michigan, has referred to him "Oh, THAT Guy!" and called him "arguably one of Hollywood’s greatest character actors."
