Greg Weisman

Greg Weisman is an American comic book and animation writer and producer. He is best known for co-creating the 1990s Disney animated series Gargoyles and the superhero animated series The Spectacular Spider-Man and Young Justice and co-writing Bionicle: Mask of Light with Henry Gilroy.

Weisman was an executive producer and the story editor on the first season of Star Wars Rebels. He did not continue this role for any of the show's following seasons and instead wrote the Star Wars: Kanan comic series which expanded on the origins of Kanan Jarrus, one of the main characters of the show. According to Weisman, he also consulted and offered minor course corrections for the plot of the Rebels prequel novel A New Dawn based on what he and the other writers were doing on the show.
