Hank Green

Hank Green is an author who wrote "A Naturalist on Hoth," one of the stories in From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back, which focuses on a tauntaun caretaker at Echo Base named Kell Tolkani.

Green was excited yet nervous to add to the canon of the Star Wars universe when he was approached to write one of the stories in From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back. He recalled rewatching Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back several times to find inspiration for his short story, and he eventually realized Echo Base would have been staffed with a number of scientists. This idea grew into the character of Tolkani.
