Hollace Davids is the co-author of The Jedi Prince young-reader series along with her husband Paul. Hollace grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland and attended Goucher College and Boston University. In 1971, she met her future husband, Paul, in Harvard Square in Cambridge, after a screening of the George Lucas film, THX-1138. The Davids have two children together, Jordan and Scott.
Davids is the Senior Vice President of Special Projects at Universal Pictures in the Feature Film Marketing Department. She was previously the Vice President of Special Events at Columbia Pictures and ran her own marketing and special events consulting agency before joining Universal in 1995. Davids was the President of Women In Film from 1978–2000, and in the latter year she won both the Jim Yeager Award for Public Service from the Publicists Guild and the award for Mother of the Year by the California Mothers Association. Davids is a member of both the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Producers Guild of America.
