Howie Hammerman

Howie Hammerman was a recording technician/audio and sound engineer for Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, and Ewoks: The Battle for Endor.

Hammerman was notorious among the crew for his sonorous belches whenever drinking soda. Therefore he was the first sound source to look for for recording Jabba's burping sound. He also created the sarlacc's burp in Return of the Jedi as an uncredited crew member.
