Kim Marks

Kim Marks is a camera operator who has also frequently worked as a Second Unit Director of Photography, often involving visual effects. He worked as an assistant cameraman on Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, a camera operator and stop motion photographer on Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure, a camera operator on Ewoks: The Battle for Endor, a cinematographer on From Star Wars to Indiana Jones: The Best of the Lucasfilm Archives, and an additional visual effects photographer on Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith.

Marks began working in film in his early twenties, and after six or seven years working on low-budget films, he was hired by Industrial Light & Magic. There, he worked with people like Dennis Muren and learned both still photography and visual effects. In addition to Star Wars projects, he has worked on such major Hollywood films as The Matrix Reloaded and The Perfect Storm.
