Long John Baldry

John William Baldry (January 12, 1941 – July 21, 2005), popularly known as Long John Baldry, was a British musician and actor. He was an early proponent of the British blues movement, and in the 1960s he collaborated with Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart, and Elton John, among others. After moving to Canada and settling in Vancouver in 1985, he started lending his voice to children's animated series such as Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, in which he voiced Dr. Robotnik. In Star Wars media, Baldry provided the voice of the Great Heep in the animated Star Wars Droids in 1986.
