Lucasfilm Franchise Animation

Lucasfilm Franchise Animation is a division of Lucasfilm that partners with outside animation studios to create animated content for the Star Wars franchise beyond flagship series such as Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels that are created by sister division Lucasfilm Animation. The Franchise Animation team is responsible for the series Star Wars: Visions and Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures, as well as a variety of animated shorts published on the StarWarsKids.com website and YouTube channel. The division frequently partners with animation studios and production companies outside of Lucasfilm to produce content.

The division is led by Lucasfilm executives James Waugh, Jacqui Lopez, and Josh Rimes.
