Michel Parbot (1937 – August 3, 2008) was a French journalist and cameraman. He directed the 1980 television documentary The Making of "The Empire Strikes Back", and is credited as a cameraman on SP FX: The Empire Strikes Back. He also directed and filmed a The Empire Strikes Back documentary segment for the French television show Temps X. All those documentaries share footage to some extent.

Parbot is known for being the only journalist able to cover and film the 1983 Invasion of Grenada.
