Patricia A. Jackson is an author. She wrote a number of short Star Wars stories in the 1990s for the Star Wars Adventure Journal, mainly focused on original characters, such as the Socorran smuggler Drake Paulsen, and perhaps most famously, Imperial Inquisitor Adalric Cessius Brandl. She created the first words and phrases of the Old Corellian language for the Drake Paulsen stories and expanded on the language in an article, "Old Corellian: A Guide for the Curious Scholar." Jackson also wrote the West End Games sourcebook The Black Sands of Socorro.
A further story called Emanations of Darkness, continuing the story of Adalric Brandl, his son Jaalib, and Rebel operative Fable Astin, was written for Star Wars Adventure Journal, but was never published. It eventually appeared online at the SWRPGNetwork website.
Jackson wrote a canon short story titled "Gone to the Winner's Circle," which was published as part of the 2023 anthology book From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi.
