Tara Phillips

Tara Phillips is an Australian artist who provided the cover illustrations for the novels Queen's Shadow, Queen's Peril, and Queen's Hope. She was commissioned by Del Rey and Lucasfilm to design the official concept art of Leia Organa's wedding dress for the 2022 novel The Princess and the Scoundrel. She also provided the cover illustrations for The High Republic Three-Book Paperback Box Set, which compiled The High Republic: Into the Dark, The High Republic: Out of the Shadows, and The High Republic: Midnight Horizon into a box set with new cover art. Her cover art illustration of Vernestra Rwoh for Out of the Shadows was later reprinted in the 2025 reference book Star Wars: Women of the Galaxy: Updated and Expanded. For Star Wars: The High Republic, Phillips also contributed the cover illustration for the anthology The High Republic: Tales of Light and Life.
