Yuji Kaida

Yuji Kaida (Japanese: 開田 裕治) is a Japanese artist. For Tokyopop's Star Wars Manga: Silver, he created a fold-out color artwork of Darth Vader with an unfinished Death Star in the background.

Kaida is best known for illustrations of Godzilla and other kaiju, earning him the nickname "怪獣絵師" (kaiju eshi, or the Kaiju Painter). He won the 1997 Seiun Award for Best Artist.
