Alderaanian walking barnacles were a species of aquatic crustaceans found on the planet Alderaan in the Core Worlds. During the Battle of Coruscant in the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems in 19 BBY, the sight of the eerily life-like ripples of Separatist vulture droids clinging to the curves of the Trade Federation flagship Invisible Hand resembled the bristling of Alderaanian walking barnacles on a marine predator.
