Archix

Archixes were winged creatures native to the planet Dathomir that dwelt upon aeries atop the Singing Mountain, around which they circled. The sound they made was one of "screeching." Mother Talzin of the Nightsister coven of Dathomir Witches mentioned the creatures in her manifesto, Wild Power, comparing their screeches to the echoes of the Fanged God, a being of the dark side of the Force who resided in the realm of Mortis and was worshipped by the Nightsisters as a deity. Wild Power was one of many writings collected in the Sith historical book Book of Sith, assembled by Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Sidious sometime between 19 BBY and 18 BBY.
