Batuuan spider-roach was a type of spider-roach that could be eaten as food and shared its name with the Outer Rim planet Batuu. A meat trader sold crunchy Batuuan spider-roach in the Holy City on the Mid Rim moon Jedha by 382 BBY, during the High Republic Era. That year, while a group of wargaran creatures were loose in the city, the trader was bored and listed crunchy Batuuan spider-roach among the food items they had for sale.
