A bouf rat was a type of rodent that was preyed upon by a lyxine. While waiting to inform the Sith Lord Darth Vader that the crew of the Executor-class Star Dreadnought and flagship of the elite Imperial fleet Death Squadron, the Executor, had located the YT-1300 light freighter, the Millennium Falcon, newly-made Admiral Firmus Piett compared himself to a lyxine watching a bouf rat as he detailed how he had risen through the ranks of the Imperial Navy.
