Crunchbug

Crunchbugs were a non-sentient species of insects that were enjoyed as a snack food by members of the Hutt species. They produced chirping or peeping sounds. In 11 ABY, the Hutt crime lord Shala offered the Jedi Corran Horn a bowl of live crunchbugs in his base on the planet Courkrus, but the Force-sensitive had to decline as he claimed to have an allergy to insects. Horn later reflected that he wished to he could use the Force to perform a census of all the crunchbugs living in the city of Vlarnya on the planet. In 19 ABY, crunchbugs were served at a huge feast held by Popara Anjiliac Diresto in his penthouse on the planet Nal Hutta.
