The Deluvian fatworm was a type of worm that hailed from the Deluvia system, a part of the Outer Rim Territories' Klina sector that was situated close to Hutt Space. It led a parasitic lifestyle, attaching itself to the back of members of the sentient Hutt species.
In 3956 BBY, Jedi Padawan Revan visited the Mid Rim planet Kashyyyk. There, he met the merchant Eli Gand and his indentured servant Matton Dasol. When Gand attempted to interest Revan in his wares, Dasol warned the latter that the interest rates of the former's loans would "drain" him in a manner comparable to a Deluvian fatworm parasiting on the back of a Hutt. In response, Gand, who took offense at the comparison, claimed that the Hutts were, in fact, "ALL backside."
