A demon squid was a type of squid with poisonous barbs, acid-green skin, and long tentacles. It would expand when agitated but could deflate once calmed down. In 41 BBY, a baby demon squid was planted into Obi-Wan Kenobi's soup by Bolla Ropal. Its tentacles caused burn-like welts on Kenobi's skin before Prie stroked its spines, calming it down.
