A dry eel was a type of eel edible to Quarren. During the High Republic Era, some of the eels were stored aboard Republic Supreme Chancellor Orlen Mollo's Alif-class Longbeam—the Paxion—for him to consume. In 382 BBY, while hosting a peace summit aboard the Paxion in the Outer Rim's Eiram system, the protocol droid AR-K4 offered Mollo a bowl of dry eels, which he took from her and devoured.
