Dust rat

Dust rats also known as a Tatoo-rat were a type of rodent that lived on the Outer Rim desert planet Tatooine. They had brown or white fur and black or brown eyes as well as a long tail around the same length as their body.

By 3 ABY, they were commonly found across all of the world's various settlements and farms. The rats relied entirely upon off the leftovers and trash of the world's population and were widely considered pests due to the severe amount of damage they could cause to farms and homes. By the same year, the rats were also found in the city Canto Bight on the desert planet Cantonica which was also located in the Outer Rim.

In 4 ABY, three tatoo-rats were climbing on the bars of a cell in the crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure's palace on Tatooine as the droids C-3PO and R2-D2 were marched past the cell in order to reach the droid pool for work assignment.
